OUR ministries

At Vineyard, we believe that God has given each person gifts.  These gifts can be used to show the heart of God through serving in one of our many ministries.

"We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; that the fullness of the Holy Spirit is to be every believer’s experience and that it is God’s will that both the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and the gifts of the Spirit (Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 28) be manifested through the believer’s life." -VCF Statement of Faith

"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;  if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully." Romans 12:6-8 NIV

  • caring for others (cfo)

"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35

We at Vineyard want to be known by the way we love others. CFO is one vehicle we want to use to broadcast the love of Jesus to those in our midst. Our mission uses the Bible to give us practical ways to care for those around us and to live the following verse out loud.

'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'  Matthew 25:35-36;40

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Those who volunteer to assist with CFO will be put into a team. Each team will be given one month (4 months a year). This team will be who Vineyard calls to visit those who may be in the hospital that month and in need of prayer. We would call on this team to bring a meal to those who may be registered on our ‘take them a meal’ partnership.  Lastly, this team will visit and/or call shut-ins and those unable to attend on a Sunday Morning.
Each member will have their schedule to take home. Visits and meal needs will be communicated by the leaders as they arise. Members of the team will then work together to plan out who is free/willing to do so and will communicate that back to their leaders.

  • CONNECT GROUPS

Hebrews 10:25 states, “Forsake not the assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”  Connect Group is an opportunity to meet, get to know, serve, pray, encourage, study the Bible, and enjoy the company of other Christians at Vineyard in a much smaller setting than a normal Sunday morning.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:  1.  Lead a connect group of 3 or more people on a regular basis, typically 3 times per month.  (and/or) 2.  Facilitate a Connect Group by opening your home to allow a group, with a leader, to meet.

  • IGNITE youth

Ignite Youth Ministries stands to encourage and equip the next generation of Christ followers to love, know, and obey Jesus; as well as live in a way that reflects Christ to everyone they come into contact with. Our hope is that students will explore their faith, deepen their relationship with God, and learn how to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
We meet weekly on Wednesday nights, where students can expect to experience fellowship, games, a time of worship, and a message followed by small group time. These small groups allow students to engage in discussion that goes along with the message, as well as being encouraged and challenged by students in similar grade levels.

Marriage & parenting are blessings and take work; just like our car needs maintenance, our relationships can use tune ups and focused attention.  Whether you are newly married or a seasoned couple, we are here for you!

How do we help? Our marriage/parenting coaches are trained to walk alongside you, share their ups and downs, as well as encouragement and tools; to help you strengthen and enrich your marriage and family relationship with Jesus at the center. We provide a safe, non-judgemental space to strengthen your faith, spend time together, and build a community.

  • men

Men’s Ministry exists to equip, edify, exhort, and encourage men so that they
are built up in their knowledge of Scripture, strengthened in their relationship with Jesus, challenged to be mighty men of God, reminded to be empowered by the Holy Spirit (not the ways of the world), and motivated to increase their interaction with each other. We do this through twice-monthly men’s ministry breakfasts at the church (1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 7 - 8:30am which include men-sized breakfasts, a time of worship, a short devotional, and a time of focused prayer), planned recreational events, retreats, men-in-five (a time for men to gather at the closing of each service), and increasing levels of personal fellowship and discipleship.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Announced at the twice monthly breakfasts
