FIRST FRIDAY FASTING + PRAYER 2026

Join us on the 1st Friday of each month as we pray and fast, taking our prompts from the book “Forests in the Seed.” It is written about prayer and kingdom movements where the gospel spreads rapidly through multiplying disciples and churches in challenging parts of the world. Real stories that show how Ordinary People, empowered by the Holy Spirit, use biblical principles and practical action for Global evangelism. We believe Jesus changes everything! Pray and fast, however God is leading you- whether partial, full, or a particular item.

John 14:12  “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

Pray for an increase in signs, wonders, and miracles drawing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone to ask God for the impossible.

ENCOUNTER NIGHT

SPECIAL EVENT: Come join us to pray for the persecuted church around the world. We will have prayer stations with maps and information on our nations most persecuted areas where we can lift our brothers and sisters up in prayer. Let's pray for God's mighty hand and outstretched arm to work among his people! We will follow with worship and a time of ministry. Questions, contact Branden Dillon

SERVE KIDS IN OUR COMMUNITY
WEEK OF AUG 3-7
Our Daily Bread provides summer lunches for area children at Harmon Field every summer  weekday.  The week of Aug. 3 - 7, VCF will be helping with this community service. Volunteers will pick up lunches at 11:15am from Our Daily Bread (820 W Sandusky Ave) and distribute them at Harmon Park (908 W. Columbus Ave) from 11:30 AM–12:00 (clean up 12:15). Friday, Aug 7 there will be 2 locations, adding Brown Park (211 E Sandusky St) 11AM-1PM. This is a simple but meaningful way to demonstrate the love of Jesus through service. We need 4 volunteers each day, Mon-Thur and 10 or more Friday.

LINC - SUMMER COOKOUT
FIRST TUESDAYS ~  AUG 4 @ 6pm
There’s nothing better than good food, good friends, and summer nights! Join us for evenings filled with volleyball, yard games, and dinner together. After we eat, we’ll take a few minutes for a short devotion and worship with a couple of songs. It’s a relaxed way to connect, have fun, and grow in faith as a community! VCF KIDS & STUDENTS MOVING UP
It’s time for our annual grade promotion!
~ Incoming 7th graders will move up to the 7th & 8th Grade Class on Sunday mornings starting August 16 and can begin attending Ignite Youth Group on Wednesday nights starting August 12. Incoming 9th graders will transition into the Main Sanctuary for Sunday morning services. We’re excited to see our students take this next step in their faith journey! Vineyard 101 is the perfect place to get answers to your questions and learn about the basics of faith, membership, and church life at Vineyard. We will provide a light lunch and childcare.
