FIRST FRIDAY FASTING + PRAYER 2025

Join us on the 1st Friday of each month as we pray through  "The Names of God." Adapted from the book by Ann Spangler. This is a time to pray and fast however God is leading you- whether partial, full or a particular item.


OCTOBER: Esh Oklah, El Kanna – Consuming Fire, Jealous God
The Lord is a Consuming Fire who will ultimately destroy whatever is opposed to his holiness. He is also a Jealous God, who loves us completely, and who therefore, demands our wholehearted response, if we love him, we can be confident of his mercy, and our own zeal will make us jealous for God’s honor and glory. 

Prayer: Read Hebrews 12:28-29 – What do you think of when you think of “fire?” Have you ever sat and watched the flames of a fire leaping up in their intricate dance? Fire itself inspires a kind of reverence and stillness. How can you cultivate more reverence and awe towards El Kanna?

MEN'S GATHERING

Every 1st and 3rd Saturday guys (16+) are invited for breakfast, a short devotional, prayer, and conversation. If you are seeking a way to grow your relationship with Jesus along side like minded men, this group is for you!

BIBLE RECAP CELEBRATION

Ladies, come join us Sunday, November 2nd after second service in Rooms 100-101 for FREE lunch and a Recap CELEBRATION. If you made it to day 365 CONGRATULATIONS! If you dipped your toes in Recap and life got in the way OR if you have always wanted to read the Bible all the way thru but got lost and overwhelmed OR you feel stuck but desire to get to know God in a deeper way, come join us and be encouraged! VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION EVENT

WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!!! If you have volunteered any of your time here at VCF, or are thinking of volunteering, then you're invited! Bring your spouse, the kids - the night is on us (bowling, pizza, salad, dessert and a beverage). We thank God for the many gifts and talents that He has given this church family. We want to celebrate the amazing unity that comes from using our gifts to serve others!

SENIOR SAINTS

Gather monthly at VCF with other "seniors" for food, fun, and fellowship. Bring your favorite game.  We meet the first Wednesday of each month.

MEN'S RETREAT
NOV 21-22 | MARIA STEIN RETREAT CENTER| $50
Vineyard men's overnight retreat, 2pm Friday the 21st through 1pm Saturday the 22nd.  Cost is $50 for the night stay and meals. Sign up on the clipboards if interested. Contact: Eric Cook
